You can use apple cider vinegar for treating infections like pink eye. All you need to do is take 1 teaspoon of raw apple cider vinegar and add it to a glass of filtered water. Immerse a cotton ball in the solution. Now wash the outer area of the infected eye. Perform the remedy again after a few hours.
7. Flax seed (alasi) for eye infection treatment
If you get an itching sensation in your eyes quite frequently, flax seed, or alasi, will be at your help. Boil 1 cup of water. Then add 1 spoon flax seeds. Now mix the contents for 10 to 15 minutes. Put some distilled water in a jar and add a few jasmine flowers to it. Keep the jar aside for a night. The next morning, wash your eyes with this water when you wake up. If you want quick relief from inflammatory eyes, pour 2 or 3 drops of rosewater in your eyes. Then close them for 3 to 4 minutes. You can also use this home remedy everyday to prevent any eye infection in future.
11. Coriander (Dhania) for eye infection treatment
Coriander leaves, or dhania, have anti-inflammatory properties that can heal the affected areas of eyes in no time. Simply, take some coriander leaves and put them for a boil. Let the leaves cool for a few minutes. Drain the excess of liquid from the leaves in a glass. Use this liquid to wash your eyes.
